Welcome to the Freedom of Less
Last week, I talked a little about how clutter, disorganization, or just plain “too much” can be bad for your health. That post grew out of my own frustration with clutter and my own battle with overwhelm.
The past few days I’ve been sick. When I’m sick, I tend to get frustrated even more easily, plus it’s even harder to keep up with chores, so the house got dirty, work didn’t get done, and now I’m playing catch up on it all! The most difficult thing for me is the abundance of stuff that makes it hard to clean up quickly, or too many things on my plate so that when I get behind…It’s so hard to get back on track!
And so, I’m spending my efforts over the next few months to really reevaluate my priorities. I want to understand where I’m spending my time and redefine my own intentionality. This means that I’m setting out on a journey to discover how to cut back the unnecessary in my life and find freedom in doing and having less.
I think it will be beautiful.
Yes, I’m sure it’s going to get messy, but freedom comes at a cost. I’ll probably have to let go of some things that I don’t want to! But I can do that (I’ll probably kick and scream a little along the way, but I’ll survive).
Now, my question for you:
Do you want to join me?
If you’re in, the first step is to sign up right here and let me know what you’re struggling with:
I won’t spam you. In fact, you won’t get much right away, because this is a work in progress. But, once you’ve signed up for the challenge, you can send me emails and let me know what you need freedom from. That way, we can take this journey together, we can learn together, and we can enjoy our new freedom together!
Here’s my vision
Between now and Jan. 1st, I’m going to put together a challenge for us to work through together. Once New Year’s comes around, we’ll launch this thing. It will be a daily email with a little inspirational chat and some practical steps to take to get this freedom ball rolling. There will be a little workbook, or maybe a journaling challenge as well.
So, here’s where I need your input…Let me know what you need help with. Where do you need that extra little kick in the booty to get yourself motivated? Sign up for my newsletter, and then send me an email with your ideas.
Let’s find our every day beautiful by pursuing the freedom of less! Join me in this incredible challenge to purge, reduce, and set yourself free from things.
Even if you don’t “get rid” of many items, I think there is a lot of freedom in the mindset of less. This challenge will help us to build healthy habits that will change our mindset and provide freedom.
See you there!
